Project Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the pre-construction phase of a landmark metro and rail project in Dublin, Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving proposal, bid, design coordination, procurement strategy, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
* Lead pre-construction and tender activities, including design reviews and constructability planning.
* Develop procurement strategies and engage early with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Manage pre-construction schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
* Identify risks and implement mitigation plans through value engineering.
* Coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors, and statutory authorities.
* Support governance, reporting, and HSEQ planning ahead of construction.
Degree Requirements:
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
Experience Requirements:
• Proven experience in pre-construction or tender management on large infrastructure or rail projects is essential.
Leadership Skills:
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills are necessary for success in this role.
Additional Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Irish, UK or International infrastructure standards and statutory requirements is advantageous.
• Professional accreditation (Chartered Engineer, PMP, or equivalent) is desirable.
