Job Description
As an Accountant at IQ‑EQ you will manage a portfolio of clients, deliver expert accounting services, and support junior team members – all while ensuring the highest standards of compliance and client care.
What You’ll Do
* Manage a portfolio of key clients as their main point of contact, delivering accounting, VAT, payroll, audit support and bank administration services.
* Prepare annual financial statements under Irish GAAP and IFRS, and accurate and timely VAT returns.
* Guide and mentor junior accountants, reviewing their work and supporting their development.
* Liaise with auditors, advisors and teams across jurisdictions to ensure seamless client service.
* Proactively support the Corporate Services Director by improving processes, maintaining technical knowledge and driving team performance.

Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with strong client service and financial reporting experience.
* Excellent bookkeeping, management accounts and financial statement preparation skills, with expertise in UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Solid VAT preparation and filing experience, with working knowledge of the Companies Act.
* Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel.
* Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative, client‑focused approach.
