Role: Communications Officer - Temporary - Dungannon Job Overview VANRATH are partnering with a returning client, to support their search for a Temporary Communications Officer to deliver effective communications by preparing content, managing media relations, and supporting social media and communications plans.
Dungannon Temporary - 37 hours/week £34,000 - £36,000 Key Responsibilities: Prepare high-quality written materials, including press releases, newsletters, letters, reports, and official correspondence.
Liaise with local, regional, and national media outlets to secure positive media coverage and manage public relations.
Support the development and implementation of Communications, PR, and Marketing Plans.
Manage and create content for social media channels to engage stakeholders and promote organisational activity.
Undertake research to inform and support the development of press materials and formal responses.
Ensure consistent and accurate messaging across all communications platforms.
Use Microsoft Office and design software such as Canva and Adobe Illustrator to produce professional materials.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support communication objectives.
Essential Criteria 2+ years experience in a communications, public relations, or marketing role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with media engagement and content development.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and digital tools for communications.
Experience managing social media in a professional context.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
