Environmental Scientist Leadership Opportunity

Fehily Timoney and Company is seeking an Associate Director of Environmental Science to join our Environmental Science team in either the Cork, Dublin or Carlow office. This role provides exposure to a diverse range of environmental projects, including planning and EIAR, waste management, infrastructure development, waste licensing and permitting, industrial emissions licensing, and environmental due diligence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate closely with the Group Director and Senior Leadership Team
">
* Lead and manage the Environmental Science Team
">
* Oversee project planning and delivery in coordination with Project Managers
">
* Lead multidisciplinary civil and environmental design teams to ensure timely, high quality and cost-effective project delivery
">
* Manage client relationships and oversee effective communications
">
* Identify and drive business development and growth opportunities
">
* Supervise, mentor and support team members at various levels
">
* Review and approve technical reports, proposals and tender documentation
">
* Ensure adherence to quality assurance systems, management processes and relevant health and safety legislation
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
A degree in a relevant environmental discipline, with Chartership status. A minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or managerial position. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams. Strong track record of engagements with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants.
