Deputy Manager
for a
new children's residential service
supporting children under 12 years of age in Carlow.

Working closely with the
Person in Charge
, the successful candidate will play a key role in the
day-to-day management of the service
, ensuring high standards of care while providing strong leadership and support to the staff team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the overall management and operation of the residential service
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and safeguarding requirements
Promote a child-centred, therapeutic care environment
Lead, mentor, and support the staff team
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the service
Requirements
Minimum
Level 7 qualification
in Social Care or a related discipline
At least
3 years' experience
in children's residential services
Previous
leadership or senior experience
(desirable)
Strong knowledge of
HIQA standards
, safeguarding, and child-centred practice
Full clean driver's licence
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
