The Role
As our next Procurement Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our procurement team, playing a vital role in ensuring a seamless flow of materials, plant, and services for our projects. Based in our Head Office in Waterford City, you'll manage everything from purchase orders to supplier relations, directly supporting our project delivery teams and cost control department.
The Tasks Involved
* Supply Chain Management
. Retain up-to-date records and ensure all supplier and subcontractor information is current and accurate. Auditing subcontractors to ensure compliance
* Supplier Administration
* Maintain our supplier and subcontractor databases, onboard new vendors, and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date.
* Reporting & Compliance
* Generate essential procurement reports, track key metrics, and ensure all activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
* Maintain HSE & ISO compliance
by liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all documentation is up to date, including certifications, risk assessments, and method statements.
The Skills and Experience Required
* 3+ years of administrative or procurement experience, ideally within the construction or M&E sector.
* Familiarity with raising and managing purchase orders, supplier relations, and material tracking.
* Knowledge of Local Supply Chain (LSC) or similar software is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail—you're a pro at keeping records accurate and up to date.
* Strong communication and IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative team player.
