Role Overview
The Validation Lead will oversee and coordinate all post‑OQ validation activities for the project, ensuring utilities, equipment, and processes meet GMP requirements and remain in a validated state throughout routine operations. This role provides technical leadership across PQ, PPQ, EMPQ, cleaning validation, process validation, and validation lifecycle management.
The successful candidate will act as the primary validation interface between Arcadis and cross‑functional project teams, ensuring validation deliverables are delivered on schedule, compliant with regulatory expectations, and aligned with site and global validation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all post‑OQ validation activities across equipment, utilities, and manufacturing processes.
Develop and approve PQ, PPQ, EMPQ, cleaning validation, and process validation protocols and reports.
Oversee sampling, testing coordination, and data review to ensure systems meet defined performance and quality requirements.
Provide SME guidance on validation strategy, regulatory expectations, and risk‑based validation approaches (QRM, FMEA, HACCP).
Manage deviations, OOT/OOS investigations, CAPAs, and change controls related to validation activities.
Ensure validation deliverables align with project timelines, GMP requirements, and site validation lifecycle standards.
Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Operations, and Microbiology to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution.
Review and approve validation documentation, system readiness packages, and supporting technical records.
Support audit readiness and act as validation SME during internal and external inspections.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise validation processes and maintain validated state.
