Our client, a successful FMCG company is looking for an Operations Manager to lead the site operations. This role would suit a Production Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Negotiable salary depending on experience. Bonus Pension Healthcare Responsibilities: Responsibility for day-to-day plant operations and achievement of Business Plan Objectives. Directly supervise and support the manufacturing team. Oversee operational systems to ensure cost effective production within quality specifications. Oversee the management of the Warehousing and Inventory Control Processes for the Manufacturing Site. Responsible for engineering ensure optimal equipment performance. Maintain Quality Management Systems and HACCP system adhering to Company manufacturing standards, Food safety & Quality system standards. Ensure the Site operates within the guidelines of the Company Policies and Procedures and Legislation requirements with regards to risk and environmental management. Requirements: 4-5 years of experience as a Production Manager working in the Food Industry. Previous Management experience. Knowledge of Industry from supply chain through to Retail. Product Knowledge including transport, storage, distribution, and legal requirements. Demonstrate commercial acumen with an eye for seeing business improvement opportunities. Interested?
