About the CompanyAramark are currently recruiting for a General Operative responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds on our client site in Dublin 1. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.About the RoleThe General Operative will be responsible for various maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in a functioning and serviceable condition.ResponsibilitiesInspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable conditionCompletes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance proceduresRepairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.Knowledge base of building management systemsKnowledge base of HVAC units (eg, chillers, condensers, AHU's, FCU's)Knowledge base of AC unitsReports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriateAdheres to Aramark safety policies and proceduresOther duties and tasks as assigned by managerQualificationsPrevious maintenance experience preferredMust be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risksDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalRequires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawlingMust be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsRequired SkillsPrevious experience in a similar roleAbility to work within a fast-paced and busy environmentAbility to work in a team environmentEnsure all Health & Safety actions are performed to the highest standard
