Overview
We are looking for a Full-time Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Shannon, Co Clare.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 08.
Responsibilities
* Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools.
* Assembling components so they are ready for installation.
* Reading and interpreting project plans.
* Coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations.
* Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project.
* Responding to emergency calls.
* Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
* Removal of waste IBCs – minimum two times per week.
* Acid deliver – on demand.
* Responding to pump derprimes/run issues.
* Decontaminating and rebuilding of diaphragm pumps.
Requirements
* Plumbing Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Experience in the following areas – Utilities / Facilities.
* Formal training / certification in any of the above.
* At least 3 years' relevant experience.
* Basic computer knowledge essential.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
* Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.
* Flexibility.
