Job Summary
Little Richards Wood Fired Pizza is expanding our kitchen team as we grow beyond wood-fired pizza.
We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Commis Chef to support our chefs with prep and service.
This is an ideal role for someone with at least 1 year of kitchen experience who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs during prep and service
Perform basic food prep tasks: chopping, portioning, storing, etc.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your prep station
Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Support the smooth running of the kitchen during busy periods
Basic knowledge of breakfast service is a plus
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience in a professional kitchen
Good prep skills and a willingness to learn
Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety procedures
Ability to work well in a team and take direction
Organised, clean, and dependable
