Manufacturing Technician
The role of a Manufacturing Technician is to ensure the quality and efficiency of the production process. Key responsibilities include:
* Inspecting parts visually and through measuring devices to detect any deviations from customer specifications or part prints.
* Recording measurement information and alerting personnel of any quality control issues.
* Packaging parts according to customer specifications and placing finished products in designated areas.
* Completing machine reports on a daily basis, including records of machine shot counts, press scrap, machine cycle time, and daily production.
* Using statistical process control to monitor product quality and input data into computers.
* Maintaining methods, procedures, and supporting documentation to meet quality systems requirements.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Ability to work on a 4-shift roster basis in a busy 24/7 manufacturing operation.
* Good verbal reasoning, numerate ability, and mechanical aptitude skills.
* Good communication skills, both written and oral.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of computers.
