Job Overview
The Heights Hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accommodation Assistant to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest bedrooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standard.
* Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock guest amenities.
* Ensure all rooms and corridors are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
* Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Accommodation Manager.
* Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Assist with laundry duties as required.
* Deliver excellent customer service and respond to guest requests in a professional manner.
* Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.
* Adhere to hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
* Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* A strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
