Ryanair is building our first ever Engine Shop – a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility that will overhaul and test 200+ CFM56 & LEAP-1B engines annually.

We're now searching for a General Manager to lead this engine shop from the ground up.

The Day to Day of Role:
Deliver results at scale: Oversee 200+ engine overhauls each year, delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Lead & inspire: Build and develop a world-class team, driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Innovate & optimise: Introduce new technologies and smarter processes to push performance and reliability even further.
Build strong partnerships: Secure the right suppliers, tooling, and parts to keep operations running at peak capacity.
Champion compliance & quality: Ensure every overhaul meets the highest regulatory, company, and OEM standards.
Solve problems fast: Identify risks early and put robust strategies in place to keep the shop running without disruption.
Workforce Management: Oversee a workforce of 600 ensuring sufficient workforce planning, development, and management succession to ensure skills and capabilities meet the demands of the facility.
Requirements
5+ years' leadership experience in engine MRO
Strong project management and operational leadership skills
Passion for safety, quality, and efficiency
A proven ability to deliver results at scale
Unrestricted right to travel freely throughout Europe.
