McCrae Consulting Engineers are currently recruiting for a part time Office Manager to join our team. MCE is a growing Consulting Engineering practice currently employing 8 staff located in Dundrum Business Park.

Our part time Office Manager role (5 mornings 9am to 1pm - with flexibility for the right candidate) is site based in our office in Windy Arbour. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office and supporting the company’s two Directors. This role demands excellent communication and multi-tasking skills and a professional approach to all areas of business.


Responsibilities:

1. Provide day-to-day support for the senior management team in any tasks required.
2. Provide other administrative support as necessary to the wider Engineering team, undertaking research, formatting, archiving documents, helping prepare tenders, aid in preparing marketing material and creating reports or presentations.
3. Oversee all daily administrative duties in the office and ensuring that the office is operating efficiently by managing ad hoc tasks such as office supplies, arranging couriers, collating expenses, arranging travel, liaising with external third parties (cleaners, IT support), etc.
4. Act as a front-of-house representative for the company through reception, phone and email duties.
5. Assist in bookkeeping tasks and preparation of invoices, bank reconciliation.
6. Contribute to the company culture and help maintain a positive and social work environment.
7. Support the team on other special or ad hoc projects from time to time.
8. Ability to work independently, multitask and work under pressure.


Requirements:

1. Have 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role.
2. Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of Sageone would be useful but not essential.
3. Capable of working on your own initiative, someone who is extremely organised, consistent, reliable and quick learning.
4. Be honest and trustworthy, be capable of dealing with confidential information.
5. Have excellent communication skills and be adaptable and flexible.
