Head Chef
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering high-quality brunch-style menus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern, casual dining or high-end café environments and be able to manage kitchen operations with a focus on quality, presentation, consistency, and efficiency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen's daily operation, including menu development, stock control, and kitchen costings. They will also be expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness and HACCP compliance.
We are looking for a creative and commercially-minded individual who is passionate about food trends, especially in the coffee/brunch space. Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills are essential for this role.
The Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for the daily kitchen operation
* Lead and inspire the kitchen team in delivering high-quality brunch-style menus
* Develop seasonal menus with a focus on modern, fresh, and wholesome dishes
* Ensure consistency in food presentation and quality
* Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen costings within budget
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and HACCP compliance
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-led café, brunch, or casual dining concept
* Passion for food trends, especially in the coffee/brunch space
* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage kitchen costs and performance metrics
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
* Living in Ireland and having the right to work in the Republic of Ireland
