The main focus of the role of the Snr Finance Business Partner is to drive improved commercial performance and support Account Directors and Client Handle in the needs of their clients and our business.
The Primary Responsibilities for this Role are:
Developing & coaching Client handlers in financial tools and techniques that will drive better commercial results.
Preparing and reviewing client budgets
Developing costing models for New Business proposals
Forecasting for business and clients
Client profitability/client contribution ratio analysis
Partnering with our Client Handlers to build the link between operational KPI performance and financial account profitability
Supporting the Senior Management team in the drafting, development, implementation and monitoring of a multi year growth strategy
Leading on new business financials
Revenue recognition – month end function
Ad hoc variance analysis
Other aspects of the role
Financial planning for the business including variance analysis and commentary
Monthly Management accounts preparation
Audit liaison for annual statutory audit and internal
Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum 5 years' post qualified experience, preferably in a commercial role
Experience in working with a shared service environment desirable but not essential
Ability to combine commercial understanding with financial technical knowledge to support client requirements within financial regulations essential
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Strong experience of Microsoft Office tools
Strong systems knowledge – experience in PeopleSoft an advantage but not required
