The Empowerment Facilitator plays a pivotal role in unlocking the potential of individuals with intellectual disabilities. The primary objective is to foster an environment that encourages participation and inclusion within the community, guided by a person-centred approach.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing physical and emotional support
* Teaching life skills and working collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure high care standards
In addition to these core duties, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to document and report accurately, and maintain digital records in compliance with GDPR regulations.
A full driver's licence and willingness to drive vehicles are also required for this role.
This position demands a strong understanding of relevant legislation, including New Directions, and the ability to incorporate it effectively into daily operations.
