Senior Business Analyst – Life & PensionsLocation:Dublin City Centre (Hybrid – 2–3 Days Onsite Weekly)Industry:Insurance & PensionsType:ContractRate:€ per dayAbout the Role:Leading European Insurance and Pensions provider at the forefront of innovation and customer-centric solutions requiresSenior Business Analystwith experience in theLife and Pensionssector inIreland, the UK, or the wider EUto play a pivotal role in shaping strategic initiatives and delivering impactful change.While this role is initially offered on 6–12-month contract basis, there is a strong probability of the role being extended beyond this timeframe and permanent opportunities may arise at the conclusion of the current project.Responsibilities of the RoleAs a Senior Business Analyst, you will:Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to gather, analyse, and document requirements.Lead workshops and interviews to elicit business needs and translate them into functional specifications.Develop business cases, process maps, and gap analyses to support strategic decision-making.Work closely with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure solutions meet business objectives.Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiencies.Act as a subject matter expert in Life and Pensions products, regulations, and customer journeys.Ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards.Essential Candidate Requirements:Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in the Life and Pensions industry. (Industry experience should be relatively recent)Proven track record working within Ireland, the UK, or EU markets .Experience in hybrid working environments and cross-functional teams.Skills:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Use Cases, User Stories).Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.Qualifications:A third-level degree or postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.A Business Analysis certification (e.g., IIBA, BCS, PMI-PBA).Industry-specific training such as QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) while not essential, would be most welcomeAdditional qualifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or IT Service Delivery are also strongly advantageousAdditional InformationThis is a hybrid role based in central Dublin, typically requiring 2–3 days onsite per week .Candidates must be based in Ireland and available for occasional additional onsite attendance.The company offers a collaborative culture, career development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package .IMPORTANTAll applicants must have immediate availability to work in Ireland and/or the wider EU as our clientcannot provide any kind of Visa or Work Permit sponsorship at present.Apply NowIf you're a strategic thinker with a passion for the Life and Pensions industry and a drive to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
