About the Role
This senior payroll specialist will be responsible for assisting with end-to-end payroll processing, including bi-weekly and monthly pay runs. The successful candidate must have experience in managing payroll data, including timesheets, salary changes, leave, benefit deductions, and statutory payments. Additionally, they must ensure accurate processing of starters, leavers, and employee record changes, as well as maintain secure and up-to-date payroll files in compliance with data protection and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for bi-weekly and monthly pay runs.
* Verify and reconcile payroll data including timesheets, salary changes, leave, benefit deductions, and statutory payments.
* Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked, including time and attendance data.
* Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages to employees.
* Process payroll-related documents, including P60s and P45s.
* Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management regarding payroll-related queries.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior payroll position, preferably in a high-volume environment.
* Experience with payroll software and systems, including Micropay and Timepoint.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
* Knowledge of Irish payroll regulations, tax law, and statutory reporting.
* Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Strong supervisory and people management skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with integrity.
