Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in managing cutting-edge projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Efficient Machine Operations: Perform machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently
* CAM Programming: Work with computer-aided manufacturing programming to develop and improve CNC programs
*
* Process Improvement: Improve, lead, organize, and control processes within an APQP project structure
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant Education: A Higher-Level qualification, such as a degree/HNC/HND, in a relevant discipline
* Work Experience: 3+ years recent relevant experience in a Toolroom role, time-served machinist, and/or CNC programmer
* Alternative Pathway: 5+ years recent relevant experience in a Toolroom role, time-served machinist, and/or CNC programmer
Desired Criteria:
* CNC Machining Operations: CNC machining operations including mills (HAAS) and lathes (Citizen)
* Manual Machining Operations: Manual machining operations including mills, lathes, drills, and jig bores
* Metal and Plastic Machining: Knowledge of machining of metals, plastics, and composites
* CADCAM Software: Experience using CADCAM software such as Powershape, Powermill, and HyperMill
* GD&T PLM and ERP: Understanding of GD&T PLM, ERP, and Document management awareness such as 3DX, INFOR, and Therefore APQP knowledge
* Customer Interaction: Customer-facing experience
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 0745-1645 hrs
Friday: 0745-1245 hrs
