As we continue to grow, we're seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and play a key role in expanding our B2B client base. The Role As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with commercial clients, and driving growth through strategic sales outreach. This is a key commercial role with plenty of room for development and progression. Key Responsibilities Prospect and qualify leads through outbound calling, email campaigns, and networking. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential commercial clients across construction, civil engineering, and related industries. Develop a deep understanding of Athboy Plant Hires product and service offering to confidently communicate value to prospects. Schedule and coordinate client meetings and site visits in collaboration with senior sales and operations teams. Record and track all interactions using CRM tools to ensure consistent follow-up and reporting. Maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and fulfilment of hire agreements. What Were Looking For 13 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (ideally in construction, hire, or industrial services). Proven track record of lead generation and successful outreach in a B2B environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and drive to meet targets. Full drivers licence required. Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
