MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:
Departmental Key Tasks
* Ensure all enquiries and requests are dealt with efficiently and promptly.
* Ensure guests requirements are carried out efficiently.
* Responsible for correct balancing of cash and credit transactions from front house system.
* Have a full knowledge of all bedrooms, their location and what they consist of.
* Allocation of arrivals for next days business.
* Knowledge of complete days business.
* Handle reservation calls where required.
* Knowledge of local amenities and local transport.
* Full knowledge of all bedroom rates and what they entail.
* Correctly balance front office system at end of shift.
* Full knowledge of all departments opening and closing times.
* Complete knowledge of telephone system and all the different extensions of the hotel.
* Full pass over at the end of every shift using reception diary to record in.
