Job Description:
Parsons is anticipating the need for a Cost Manager to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project on-site in Dublin. In this role, you will develop and implement robust cost control and procurement processes to manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Develop and implement cost control processes.
* Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
* Manage procurement processes and tender evaluations.
* Generate and present cost reports and variance analyses.
* Identify and manage cost-related risks.
* Monitor cost variance and contract cash flow.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
* Drive continuous improvement in cost management.
* Coach junior staff.
* Perform additional duties as required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* 10+ years' experience in construction cost management, PQS, or contractor/developer roles.
* Proven track record on high-value infrastructure projects.
* Experience supporting cost management in major project environments.
* Experience influencing process improvement.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
* Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, or Cost Management.
* CMA or equivalent certification (desirable).
Note: This position is contingent upon project award and future funding. This exciting new opportunity is planned to commence in Spring 2026.
