Key Responsibilities:
* Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults to minimize downtime.
* Carry out routine checks and inspections to ensure the efficient running of machinery.
* Work collaboratively with the production team to maintain optimal operation levels.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and support ongoing improvements in machinery performance.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in line with industry regulations.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, ideally within the food production or manufacturing sector (experience with red meat production is a plus).
* Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on fault diagnosis and repair.
* Experience with industrial machinery, PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
