A leading Irish main contractor is currently recruiting Finishing Foremen and Finishing-focused Site Managers to join their team on high-quality residential developments, including apartments, housing schemes and Build-to-Rent projects.
These are permanent, full-time roles offering long-term career progression and the opportunity to work with an established contractor delivering projects to a consistently high standard across Ireland.
The Role: Reporting to the Project / Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the finishing and internal works of residential projects through to successful completion and handover.
Key responsibilities include: Managing and coordinating finishing trades and subcontractors Overseeing internal fit-out works to programme and quality standards Managing snagging, QA and final handover processes Liaising closely with site management, subcontractors and design teams Ensuring works are completed in line with Health & Safety requirements (Site Manager role) Overall responsibility for the finishing stages of the project Requirements Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman, Section Foreman, Carpenter Foreman or Site Manager (Finishing) Strong background in residential construction (apartments, housing, multi-unit developments) Trade background (carpentry / joinery) is highly advantageous Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet programme deadlines Strong communication and organisational skills Whats on Offer Permanent role with a reputable Irish main contractor Strong pipeline of residential projects nationwide Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for long-term career progression Supportive and professional working environment
