Overview
We have a new opportunity for a Project Manager - Water Sector to join our Water Sector team at Stantec. In this role you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, playing a key role in managing multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and on-time, on-budget delivery of water related projects and programmes for our key clients.
Responsibilities
* Deliver complex water sector projects across the project lifecycle by working with multidisciplinary teams.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to a high standard of quality.
* Provide excellent client service as a core expectation of the Project Manager role.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks across a portfolio of water sector projects and manage budgets and resources effectively.
* Contribute to the Project Management community at Stantec and support career development within the team.
About You
* Prior experience in project management, ideally within water, energy or other utility/infrastructure sectors.
* Industry-recognised project management qualification such as the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or similar.
* Experience managing multiple deadlines and building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* A proven track record of successful project management with proactive risk management and mitigation.
* Demonstrates a passion for innovation and client service, with ambitions to contribute to team growth.
