Job Summary:
A proactive and detail-oriented accounts assistant is required to perform day-to-day financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage bank transactions by posting them regularly.
* Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, general ledger journals, and balance sheets.
* Process and input purchase invoices accurately and on time.
* Handle weekly EFT runs to pay suppliers efficiently.
* Reconcile creditor accounts and prepare monthly aged creditors reports.
* Process petty cash transactions effectively.
* Assist in preparing internal reports for management purposes.
* Undertake general office and administrative tasks as required.
Candidate Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar accounts or administrative role.
* Excellent computer skills, with strong proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts and Excel being highly desirable.
* Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
* A strong work ethic, flexible approach, and a positive attitude.
