Job Description:
The Head of Operations is a pivotal role that requires the continuous drive and improvement of operational excellence throughout the Operations function and the wider Retail business.
This includes having full P&L responsibility for up to half of the estate and providing leadership to a team of District Managers in the formulation and delivery of Regional business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure Operational Excellence: Drive and improve operational excellence throughout the Operations function and the wider Retail business.
* Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership to a team of District Managers in the formulation and delivery of Regional business plans.
* Customer Proposition and Standards: Ensure our shops present every part of our proposition in the most compelling way to our customers, including market leading customer proposition, standards & experience.
* Customer Insight and Feedback: Gather, filter and communicate meaningful customer insight to aid future development of the business and our product offer.
* Competitor Analysis and Response: Build a greater understanding of competitor activity, developing and leading operational responses to changes in the competitive landscape.
* Omnichannel Proposals: Deliver continual development and improvements in how our people present our proposition to our customers, with a focus on self-service, digital and omnichannel propositions.
Requirements:
* Experience: Experience of leading large, multisite teams, preferably within the retail or gaming industry.
* Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, liaising and building mutually beneficial relationships with all levels across the business.
* Problem-Solving and Ownership: Demonstrates the drive and ownership to fix issues as they arise and see them through to completion.
* Communication and Influence: Outstanding communicator, who influences & persuades skillfully, in delivering PP strategy and operational plans across a broad remit.
