Key Role in Kitchen Operations

* Support the Executive Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistently high standards.

Leadership and Collaboration

* Take the lead in the Head Chef's absence, upholding kitchen performance, communication, and quality.
* Mentor and guide junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Menu Planning and Development

* Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and the creation of seasonal dishes.

Cost Management

* Monitor kitchen costs, including food margins, purchasing, and labour management.

Career Advancement

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a 4 or 5-star property or fine dining restaurant. A passion for seasonal, local ingredients and a strong food ethos is essential.
