CAD Technician - Precast
Are you a detail-oriented CAD professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced CAD technician to join our team in Meath.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working under the direction of the Design Office Manager. Your key responsibility will be drawing and detailing concrete structures using Allplan software.
* Liaising with architects, consultant engineers, contractors and clients as required ensuring completeness of information and that all changes are reflected in the manufacturing process;
* Thoroughly checking drawings prior to issue for approval and manufacture;
The ideal candidate will have experience in drawing reinforced concrete structures, good knowledge of Auto-CAD and experience or Revit or similar BIM style 3D modelling packages would be beneficial.
Requirements
1. Experience in drawing reinforced concrete structures is highly desirable;
A strong understanding of BIM software including Allplan, Proficiency in Auto-CAD, or Familiarity with other design software such as Revit
