Job Title: Reinsurance Manager Location: Dublin City Working Model: Hybrid Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Manager to join our client in a senior, hands-on reinsurance role. This position offers responsibility across the full reinsurance lifecycle and will suit an experienced professional who enjoys operating in a lean team environment with high levels of ownership and accountability. Your Role Take ownership of the end-to-end reinsurance function, including placement, underwriting support, accounting, returns and oversight activities Act as a key point of contact for reinsurance brokers and reinsurers, managing ongoing relationships and engagement Oversee reinsurance-related governance, compliance and reporting requirements Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure reinsurance arrangements align with the organisation's risk profile Provide technical input on reinsurance structures, renewals and market engagement Support internal initiatives, reviews and process improvements relating to reinsurance Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reinsurance information across the business Operate effectively within a small team structure, balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery Your Skills Strong reinsurance experience, ideally from an underwriting, purchasing or reinsurance-focused role Solid understanding of non-life reinsurance, with flexibility around background and career path Ability to manage the full reinsurance process independently in a small team environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships Comfortable balancing technical detail with broader oversight and responsibility Insurance qualification is desirable High level of professionalism, sound judgement and a collaborative approach Should this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at.
