Role Overview
Due to internal growth at Medserv, we are actively looking for a Patient Administrator to join our Remote Practice Management team based in our Athlone Office. You will be working closely with a Medical Secretary ensuring you are meeting and exceeding client expectations. On a daily basis you will be managing a high volume of calls (circa communications) from patients, secretaries and other medical professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Managing calls from patients, secretaries, and other medical professionals
* Resolving Customer Queries
* Processing Payments
* Issuing correspondence to patients
* Scanning & Filing Sensitive Documents
* Assisting with aspects of clinic management
* Managing internal and external email queries
* Working as part of a team
* Dealing with ad-hoc duties as they arise

Requirements And Skills

* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and time management
* Previous experience in medical reception, administration, or customer service (e.g., hospitality/travel industry)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with experience handling phone enquiries
* Familiarity with clinical systems (desirable but not essential)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Calm under pressure in a fast-paced medical setting
* Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support the team as needed
* Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and quickly build rapport
* Excellent telephone manner
