Job Title: Supervisor (Part time)
Location: Limerick
Hours per week: 30 hours
Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday
The Cleaning Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Cleaning team, ensuring high-standard cleaning and effective management of staff.
This position ensures compliance with all regulations, maintains standards of service, and provides guidance and leadership to team members.
The Cleaning Supervisor is pivotal in fostering a positive environment for both patients and staff.
To provide and maintain a high standard of cleaning service within contracted buildings, working within the cost limits and resources agreed between the Client and ISS
Job Dimensions
Operational
Ensure a high standard of cleaning
Work on areas with, or in the absence of staff
Care and checking of cleaning equipment
Key security and allocation
Administration
Implement standards on site (Complete training records, conduct site inspections, implement the complaints handling process etc)
Process annual leave requests
Completion of sign-on sheets
Allocate and, where necessary, reorganise staff
Issue staff uniforms
Manage equipment maintenance process
General administration duties
Customer Relations
Encourage good relations with all clients on contract site
Promptly deal with any queries or complaints
Promote ISS Facility Services
Training
Conduct basic induction training for new staff
Instruct staff in safe working practices (manual handling/safe use of chemicals etc)
Instruct staff in basic technical skills

Read, understand and work in accordance with the company's HSEQ Policies.
Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions.
Support the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of our HSEQ Management Systems at site level.
Manage non-conformances and complaints and record centrally.
Focus on customer needs and expectations.
Cascade relevant HSEQ information to your direct reports and front-line employees

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours.
As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required.
Local requirements will govern your patterns of work.
You will be required to be Garda Vetted and have a clear record.
You will be required to be vaccinated against various illnesses.
