PLUMBER | €22.67 per hour
We are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician / Plumber to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you will attend call outs to guest accommodation as well as general buildings around the Village. You will carry out tasks to resolve maintenance issues, reporting any defects or issues which may cause future problems.
Other responsibilities will include undertaking inspections, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and assisting with any other general work as briefed by Technical Services Management.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills as you will regularly come into contact with both colleagues and guests. Trade experience is essential as technical knowledge will be required.

HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 75 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
Your working hours will typically be from 6am to 2pm. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
During the late shift you will be required to be 'on call' for any issues that may arise during out of hours working.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
Previous trade experience is required i.e. electrical or mechanical as you will also carry out maintenance duties connected with other trades
A current full Irish / EU, Class B (+E) driving licence
NFQ Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Plumbing, Pipefitting or demonstrable equivalent (i.e. National Craft Certificate)
Desirable Requirements:
Registered Gas Installer with RGII (as an individual or under an employer's registration)
Domestic Gas Safety Course
Gas Installation Safety & Gas Installation Domestic Course
Domestic Servicing Training Course
