Data Centre Lead Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations across the facility, ensuring all work orders and tasks are completed to agreed standards and logged through client systems.
* Oversee the installation, configuration, testing, and certification of optical hardware and networking infrastructure.
* Monitor system performance and address faults, outages, and abnormal events with prompt corrective action and incident reporting.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety obligations, cloud service standards, and environmental protocols.
* Liaise with specialist contractors to review, audit, and implement maintenance reports and improvements.
Requirements:
* Recognised trade qualification in electrical or mechanical services (essential)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a mission-critical or data centre environment
* Strong hands-on experience with UPS systems, BMS platforms, chillers, standby generators, and electrical system testing
* Proficiency in optical infrastructure – including fibre handling, installation, and certification
* In-depth understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to facilities maintenance
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clear documentation
* Strong IT literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn new systems
