HVAC Refrigeration Technician Job Opportunity
Maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are the core responsibilities of this role.
This position involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems, conducting fault finding across all aspects of plant equipment, and performing maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC equipment.
For this role, you will need to possess a strong background in refrigeration engineering, having achieved a minimum of Level 6 certification, along with F-Gas registration. Additionally, a minimum of five years' experience is required post-apprenticeship, covering service and repair work across various aspects.
You must be able to operate effectively under pressure, meet strict deadlines, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and hold a full clean driving licence.
In carrying out your duties, you will be expected to use sound judgment when developing plans or suggestions and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality plans are implemented. You will also be required to adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety Quality policies and procedures as necessary.
Beyond these essential requirements, relevant experience in boilers and general boiler house plant would be advantageous but not essential. Similarly, experience working in hospital environments could be beneficial.
