Actuarial Consultant Role
Our team is seeking an experienced actuary to contribute to the delivery of consulting services for life insurance and reinsurance clients. The successful candidate will work closely with senior colleagues to build and maintain client relationships, preparing materials for proposals and client meetings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of actuarial principles and financial knowledge, gained through experience working in life insurance or reinsurance, preferably within a consulting environment. They should also possess a good working knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II, with the ability to apply this in practice and develop expertise further through project work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard.
* Support the development of actuarial consulting services for life insurance and reinsurance clients.
* Prepare materials for proposals and client meetings, working closely with senior colleagues.
* Develop expertise in actuarial consulting and apply it in practice to drive business growth.
Required Qualifications:
* Nearly qualified or newly qualified actuary.
* Strong actuarial and financial knowledge, with experience working in life insurance or reinsurance, preferably within a consulting environment.
* Good working knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II, with the ability to apply this in practice and develop expertise further through project work.
