Clongowes Wood College SJ is one of Ireland's oldest and most successful 7-day boarding schools for boys, situated 35km west of Dublin, in Co. Kildare.
SCHOOL NURSE ( Part time, Term Time Contract )
We are looking for an experienced nurse to work as part of a 6-person team, managing the day-to-day medical needs of our busy school population. The successful applicant will work both independently and as part of a team, interacting with, parents, college staff and pupils Duties include running daily clinics, liaising with outside medical teams, organising medical appointments and transport, record and account keeping..
The successful applicant will ideally have a general nursing qualification and have experience working with young people in an independent capacity. This is a permanent ( Term Time) part time role. It is expected that the nursing team will work an average of 28 hours a week during term time only ( 12 hour Shifts).
This role is a termtime role from the start of the academic year to the end of the State Exams. The successful candidate will ideally start before the end of the academic year ( May / June ) for training.
