Regional Health and Safety Manager - Construction Sector
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Health and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee health and safety programs across projects in the Leinster region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety programs on allocated projects.
* Promote a positive health and safety culture on-site with site management, contractors, and workers.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and develop effective solutions.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Recognised health and safety degree or diploma.
* Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
* At least 10 years' of industry experience.
* Previous construction experience is preferred (pharma, datacentre, hi-tech, commercial).
* Proven experience as a health and safety manager in the construction industry.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
