Our client is a leading public-sector organisation headquartered in Dublin City Centre. They are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is well suited to a recently qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with 3+ years' experience in corporate finance, deal advisory, transaction services, or a related financial discipline, who is eager to develop their career in a dynamic and commercially focused environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Analyse financial statements, forecasts and business plans; assess investment, funding, capital expenditure, acquisition and disposal proposals.
* Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, scenario analysis, valuations and strategic initiatives.
* Monitor financial performance against targets, KPIs and budgets, with a focus on profitability, cash flow, capital structure and value creation.
* Contribute to the development and evaluation of strategic initiatives, growth opportunities and operational improvements.
* Conduct industry, market and competitor analysis to inform recommendations and decision-making.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information, assess proposals and support decision processes.
* Prepare clear, concise and commercially focused reports and presentations for senior management and decision-makers.
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and diligence; manage multiple priorities effectively; continue professional development in corporate finance and related disciplines.
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant financial, corporate finance, advisory or commercial finance role.
* Experience in professional services, investment analysis, infrastructure, utilities or large-scale organisations is an advantage.
