Main Duties
To deliver exceptional levels of customer service at all times in accordance with company procedures, and to ensure all therapists are aware of company procedures relating to Complaint Handling and Customer Care.
To ensure that high levels of cleanliness and hygiene are adhered to throughout all relevant areas in the spa.
Check if all bulbs are working. Report to immediate supervisor.
To understand all treatments and packages on offer.
To have a full and comprehensive understanding of the Spa Experience Area and have a thorough knowledge of all rooms.
To maintain lockers, towels, laundry and cleanliness of changing rooms and HSE area.
Assist the Therapists in maintaining correct levels of laundry stock.
To set a standard at all times in professionalism, appearance and attitude as expected of all spa personnel.
Assist front desk by maintaining towel supply and flip-flops for hotel guests and maintaining reception area on busy days i.e. using tile machine cleaner for cleaning the floor.
Regular checks on health and safety procedures carried on the designated areas.
Carry out regular testing for the hydrotherapy pool in a safe manner adhering to all rules and regulations.
To attend any meetings, training sessions, courses and workshops that may be beneficial to the Spa.
To undertake duties as requested which are deemed consummate with the level of the role.
To have a knowledge of all treatments and be able to promote them.
To ensure all equipment is fully operational and report any defects to the relevant manager.
To inform the Senior Therapist of any medical conditions or behaviour of guests that is unusual or causes concern e.g. skin conditions, bruising, and alcohol abuse.
To ensure that all the Spa treatment areas are kept tidy throughout the day.
To turn off equipment, lights, air conditioning, secure rooms and all candles are quenched at the end of shift.
To undertake any other relevant duties as requested by the Spa Manager, Senior Therapists or Health & Fitness Club Manager.
To assist at any PR functions, open evenings, and special promotional activity within the Spa or other venue.
To promote the Spa at all times.
To adhere to Health and Safety requirements by using safe working practices as per Company procedures.
To assist in all areas of the Spa or Health & Fitness Club when required.
To be courteous to guests and fellow staff members at all times.
