Social Care Manager Role Overview: We are currently recruiting for a permanent Social Care Manager role to provide direct service to young people under the age of 12 as directed by policies and procedures. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing strong leadership to support a staff team of Social Care Workers and Leaders. Job Description: The successful candidate will have a minimum QQI level 7 qualification in Social Care and must hold or be enrolled in a programme leading to a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting. Alternatively, they may hold a QQI level 8 qualification in Social Care with 3 years post-qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge surrounding child protection, HIQA and the ability to provide strong leadership to support a staff team. They will also possess excellent communication, time management, care, and attention to detail skills.
