Our Client, a family owned specialist designer and manufacturer of packaged products who specialise in the waste water/sewage sector are seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all domestic sales, customer interaction, and quotations.The successful candidate will work closely with the directors, consulting engineers and contractors while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities: Customer interaction, both remote and in person, with Consulting Engineers and Contractors including presentations, building relationships with the same so that our company is the design partner for these companies of choice. The preparation of quotations and customised process descriptions, liaising with the design and manufacturing divisions, procurement, oversight of installations and satisfactory completion of projects including all payments. Maintaining relationships and performance after a sale is completed. The Commercial Manager will report to the Directors and be a member of the Management Team attending all meetings, including the monthly Management Review Committee (MRC) and weekly Sales Meetings. The Commercial Manager will have direct input into all areas of the business including design and R&D. Liaising with the Manufacturing Team will be required. Core Skills/ Attributes: Analysing market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify opportunities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by overseeing service quality. Monitoring sales activity, pipeline, and performance against targets.) Preparing and presenting regular sales reports to senior management. Securing meetings with potential customers both in person and virtually. Attending site as projects required. Representing the company at trade shows, conferences and networking events. A flexible and adaptable mind-set. Qualifications: A Third Level Qualification in Building/Business or related areas (preferable). 3 years Sales Experience. Experience of and relationships within the Irish Construction Industry. Experience in the sewage/wastewater industry (preferable). Excellent spoken and written English. A proven track record of generating profitable sales and building relationships. A positive attitude, who can work on their own initiative.
