Senior Warehouse Manager Role
The role of a Senior Warehouse Manager is to oversee and manage warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of shop floor activities.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to utilise resources to their full potential, liaising with the Warehouse Team Leader and Warehouse Operatives to ensure that deliveries leave in a timely manner and in full to meet customer deadlines and quality expectations.
The Senior Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring all raw materials and finished goods receipts into the warehouse are handled in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage warehouse operations to achieve business objectives.
* Problem solve and liaise as necessary to ensure efficiency and smooth running of the distribution facility.
* Responsible for the Logistics function and providing operational direction for all Employees.
* Balance competing priorities of day-to-day service requirements with long-term business goals.
The Senior Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and adherence to legislative requirements.
The role requires the ability to support the delivery of 99% on-time deliveries and ensure warehouse errors do not exceed 0.10%.
The successful candidate will resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Ensure assets are properly maintained and serviced.
Management of stock control through perpetual inventory cycle counting to 99.9% stock accuracy.
Process stock disposals.
Deliver service targets to agreed performance levels.
Motivate your team to achieve the highest levels of productivity.
Deployment of a defined people strategy to drive positive employee engagement, strong front-line capability, and a KPI / continuous improvement culture.
