Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team in a mammalian cell culture facility. This is a 12-month fixed term contract position that will provide technical expertise to support the commercial manufacturing of therapeutic proteins.
The successful candidate will lead technical leadership in multiple late-stage programs, including technology transfer, process validation, and technical support. They will be responsible for designing and executing laboratory experiments to support process characterisation and late-stage process improvements/development activities.
Key responsibilities include:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 6 years' experience in upstream and/or downstream processes in a large-scale biopharmaceutical facility. You should also have a thorough knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and previous experience in leading new product technology transfers into a clinical/commercial facility.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional collaborative team to achieve mutual goals.
