My client, a global pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of automated vial and syringe filling equipment, as well as the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and utilities.
The successful candidate will help grow the organization's maintenance maturity continuum to achieve excellence as defined by industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
1. Setup, planned maintenance, and fault finding of automated vial and syringe filling equipment.
2. Maintenance of equipment and utilities, documenting work to GMP standards.
3. Manage external contractors during equipment installations and service visits.
4. Manage spare parts, consumables, and services to ensure schedule compliance.
5. Develop, implement, and promote a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy using Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA/FMEA).
6. Support documentation for maintenance and calibration activities, including PM, Data Sheets, Work Instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
7. Support compliance efforts related to safety, quality, CAPAs, change management, and investigations, assisting in electrical and mechanical issue resolution.
8. Ensure maintenance routines and procedures meet standards and best practices for cGMP and EHS compliance.
9. Adhere to cGMP and EHS regulatory requirements from local, global, and industry perspectives.
10. Be flexible to undertake overtime, shift coverage, on-call duties, and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Conflict management and negotiation abilities.
4. Structured decision-making skills.
5. Experience in report preparation and presentation.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to interpret business documents and compile technical reports.
9. Effective teamwork and communication skills.
10. Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and lift as required, including the use of personal protective equipment and handling heavy objects.
