Procurement Assistant Job Opportunity

* You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory control data, ensuring timely replenishment of customer stock, and accurately processing enquiries and sales orders.
* You will also raise purchase orders using established suppliers, expedite outstanding materials, and provide relevant data to support operational planning.
* A key aspect of the role is supporting sourcing, identifying parts and equipment, and negotiating with suppliers to fulfill customer requirements.
* Additionally, you will contribute to improving internal and customer-facing processes.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

">
1. Maintain accurate inventory control data within site systems
2. Ensure timely replenishment of customer stock as needed
3. Accurately process enquiries and sales orders into the system
4. Raise purchase orders using established and preferred suppliers where possible
5. Expedite outstanding or overdue materials
6. Support the sourcing, identification, and commercial negotiation of parts and equipment
7. Provide relevant data, feedback, and insights to support operational planning, reporting, and key performance indicators
8. Operate in accordance with Health & Safety policies
9. Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of site operations by identifying opportunities to improve internal and customer-facing processes
