Job Title: Polaris Systems Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Polaris Systems Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering multiple initiatives from ideation to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and support new products using Product writer software - transform business requirements into working products.
* Support and maintain existing Polaris products including rate and rule changes, through entire change lifecycle –from discussions with change managers, through to developing change and supporting testing and deployment.
* Co-ordinate batch testing processes, including the Product writer test harness to run routine tests.
* Improve processes.
* Identify and promote better ways to complete day-to-day job and improve cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in insurance, particularly in general insurance products is preferred.
* Experience in Product writer programming skills is not required but is an advantage.
* Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to the Business owners & IT on technical issues.
* A strong decision-making and prioritisation skillset, with ability to operate effectively under pressure in dealing with multiple customers and timelines.
* The ability to work as part of a tight team & work on own initiative.
