We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to join our team as a Social Care Leader. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing safe, effective, and person-centred care to young people.
About the Role:
The Social Care Leader is responsible for supporting and leading the care team to deliver high-quality care. This involves working alongside the Social Care Manager and Deputy Manager to develop the service and foster a supportive environment where young people feel safe, heard, and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote the wellbeing, rights, and participation of young people according to their care plans.
* Lead shifts, ensuring smooth operations and strong team collaboration.
* Maintain accurate records and liaise with families and professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field eligible for CORU registration (e.g., Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, Social Sciences, Disability Studies, Early Years Care).
* At least 2 years' experience working with children or young people in residential care at Social Care Worker level or higher.
